CELRE was established in 1968, and offers nearly four decades of experience in collecting and processing company salary data. We employ a small number of highly skilled staff, who are all very experienced in producing salary surveys, and are a friendly, flexible organisation with a client-oriented focus.

Through our associate company CELRE Consultancy, we also offer high calibre consultancy work in related areas of pay, benefits and reward management.

CELRE is the market leader in the IT sector, providing salary, earnings and fringe benefits data on IT staff for the UK's top companies. Our surveys analyse quartile salaries and basic salaries plus bonus by region, industry, company size, function, age, experience and 'key skill'.

The surveys provide accurate 'constant sample' measures of movements in earnings and labour turnover. In addition to presenting current trend data, the surveys provide detail regarding companies' predictions for the coming year.

CELRE is also a leading provider of salary survey data and reports for the UK's top management and professional groups.

Our management and professional surveys follow a broadly similar style of presentation. The company profile given is measured and separately analysed by sales turnover, number of employees, plus industry criteria and location of employment.

The individual questionnaire data enables us to analyse basic salary, bonus payments shift payments and when appropriate, detailed analyses of relevant professional qualifications. All of these are analysed in quartile form and related to level of responsibility and job function.
