MODAS

MODAS (Matching your Own Data Against the Survey) compares, at a glance, your organisation's data against any of the survey median and quartile results and identifies variances from the market in both pounds and percentage terms. The report matches your organisation's jobs against the market, using your data coupled with the results from the latest Salary Survey.

MIDAS

MIDAS matches individuals rather than jobs or responsibility levels.

For example, for the IT salary surveys the comparison is by:

  • Main locations, ie inner London, outer London, rest of UK and the national market.
  • Basic salary and Basic plus Bonus.
  • Each quartile table (by size, by region, by function, etc.)

In addition, there are some useful built-in features, such as:

  • Risk levels, colour warnings to show under/overpaid jobs.
  • Company position line graph, overall view of the organization against Lower Decile, Lower Quartile, Median, Upper Quartile and Upper Decile of the market.
  • Level position scatter graphs, deviation in pounds and percentages of each job level against the Median.

All these features are interactive - they allow you to set up different scenarios by areas or basic/basic plus bonus. To understand the range of possibilities that MODAS offers, download a sample file and the manual, and try it out for yourself.
